Quantum oscillations in PrOs4Sb12

Our quantum oscillation technique for studying hidden order is now in print.

Our recent study of unusual quantum oscillations in the heavy fermion compound PrOs4Sb12 is now in print (15 August issue of Physical Review B).

In this paper we show that one of the Fermi surfaces in this material expands and contracts, as an underlying local order parameter changes. This is a new application of quantum oscillations that may have promise in the study of materials with so-callied "hiden order".
